The service rep was great and understanding. When you make an appointment and the vehicle isn’t ready when you return to the dealership 4-5 hours later and it isn’t even been looked at that’s frustrating. Also, my truck with less than 9k miles failed inspection and I was charged $21. I returned within 30 days and Was charged $11 to reinspect. It’s only $11, but shouldn’t that be a warranty issue?

I purchased a new EV Blazer that was in the shop being fixed three different times for the same issue. The last time it was in the shop for approximately 5 months. I have to thank Della for providing a loaner vehicle, however the loaner vehicle was of less value than my vehicle and I paid my monthly payments on a car I was not driving. The car was in the shop for so long because no one knew what was wrong with it. I recently received the vehicle back and I am hopeful that there are no further problems. I would like to request that in these extreme situations it become a priority to fix the vehicle and communicate thoroughly with the customer. These are two aspects I did not receive. I found myself having to make constant contact with the service department to obtain updates. On the note of updates, I am not sure what a service advisor's job is exactly, but I have to assume that it does not require them to stay on top of the status of vehicles in the shop. I should not be told incorrect information or that "I don't know" considering my vehicle has been there for months! I apologize for this review, but I believe a greater sense of priority should have been given to repairing my brand-new vehicle.

I felt the tech’s opinion did not make sense. While asking follow up questions everyone I dealt with was very dismissive and unhelpful. I decided to go to another dealership because the diagnosis did not make sense and honestly, the woman I was working with was kind of a jerk. I went to another dealership and had a much better experience and they did find out what was actually wrong with my car. I left a google review detailing my experience. Your manager then called me and offered me a refund on the incorrect diagnosis if I took the review down. That seemed fair. She never refunded my card.

I did this on Friday 3/7/2025, it was also explained to you that it could take a couple days to process the refund and might not show up right away, I'm sure if you were to look you would see the refund on your card. I strive to make sure that customers who did not receive satisfactory service or diagnosis are heard and the concern is taken care of in a timely manner. Was told twice my tire rotation was free but then had to argue over it to get it. Reverse camera was repaired but tailgate was not test after the repair. Tailgate worked fine before they worked on the camera but would not operate afterwards. If they had checked it I would not have driven home in a truck that I had no access to the bed because with the bed cover down there was no way to get into.

My appointment was for 9:15 on June 6th. for an oil change and 2 air filters changed. I brought another vehicle to use while mine was being serviced. I checked two hours later and the truck hadn't been touched. I asked why this was and was told that people who waited at the dealership had priority over me because I didn't wait for the service. It finally took 4 hours before I could take my truck. I am deeply disappointed with the service. What is the point of making an appointment if it won't be honored? I will most likely take my truck to another shop for service in the future.

I went in for the advertised "Normal Mileage Package" which included oil change and ytire rotation plus an extensive list of "multi Point Inspection items. When I registered with the Advisor - Nicole Young- I pointed out that I wanted the full inspection as advertised. She gave me a blank look and kept repeatiing that they were only doing the oil change and tire rotation and would do a reegular munti=point inspection. I accepted this and went to the waiting area. When she came to take me to the cashier she presented me with a bill for oil change and tire rotation. I requested a check list of the points that the tech had inspected and did receive that shortly after. The check list showed the multi inspection points covering 1-1/2 pages of items to be inspected totaling about 35 items of which only 7 were shown OK as inspected. At the end of this process I gave up wit the advisor and went to pay my bill indicating that I would be sure to file an unsatisfactory experience report to which she offered no comments. The Cashier had now closed operations and I had to request assistance from a sales manager to make my payment which he did promptly and courteously. In summary, I was not satisfied with the advisor and probably will use another GM dealer for future needs. I really like my 2018 Traverse Premier and hope to continue ownership since there is no longer a model like the 2018. This is the first time I ave had a dealer service during which the tech had not recommended an additional need. Your dealership and the customer has missed out on additional revenue and a needed replacement as is the usual experience.

Saturday 8:30am so I can get on with my days recreation plans. First service on a new truck. Simple, straightforward, no crazy surprise add-on change orders. Those customers who do this should be the ones to wait while you honor the appointment time that was made with me. I was on time, I was patient. At 10:30 I thought the work would /should be completed. No. That would only be possible if a mechanic had been assigned to my truck at the time of my appointment. Car sales people were repeatedly prioritized by service when a dealer preparation on a new sale was demanded, taking one of the two mechanics away from the service appointments. (Who coordinates the needs of Sales/Service? Without that attention Sales vs. Service becomes evident) So my one hour job took 3 hours. My plans changed. I know, a first world problem. Maybe an additional mechanic could be working Saturdays for the last month of a quarter to deal with the sales aspect of your dealership, while those of us who value your service department to support the vehicle we already purchased are served in a timely fashion. Those customers buying a vehicle on Saturday are no different than me going for service on a Saturday. We're all trying to not lose a scheduled workday. Offering weekend service is an incredible service for all customers. Please support what you offer. The results of the service on my truck were great. The mechanics did everything well, my complements to them in a high pressure situation not of their making. Sincerely, Clifford Smalley

I asked that my 2016 impala be looked at, due to a knocking noice I hear when driving on a bumpy road. I was told that the problem was a defective lower control arm, and that they could order the part and schedule the work ones the part was in A week or so later I was notified that the part was in and scheduled for a week after. 2 days in the shop and $600+ dollars later I picked up the car and the noice was still there! I contacted the service department to let them know and was told that what I was hearing must be something new…. No, No, No!! It was the same problem!!! The ladie I was speaking with then said I will check with the department manager and get back to me. That never happened! Im filing a complaint with the BBB, and any other agency that’s whiling to help me and will file a complaint with small claims court if this issue is not addressed without any! Further charges as is not my fault that the actual problem was obviously missed diagnosed.

My satisfaction with my purchase at this dealership was short lived by the interactions I have had with della Chevrolet service department The level of poor communication, miss information, poor workmanship and carelessness just to name a few is truly unacceptable. Here is just the latest examples of why. I brought my vehicle in do to a noice while driving on uneven surfaces, It was found that a lower control arm was defective, picked up the car after the work was done just to find that the noise was still there When I called they try to tell me that it may be something else wrong… it took a bad review to be contacted by the service manager Whom after researching found out that the new lower control arm was installed on the wrong side…! Had to bring the car back to the shop to get the repair done.. again And ones again… because the alignment was off.. (A)for effort to Jenny on that, but again my satisfaction was short lived… A few days later the car started to have a clunk sound during the transmission gear changes, so I brought it back in and after several hours, I was told that the noise was normal…. And was given a note from GM explaining it. I felt that this explanation was a bunch of nonsense so I had Goss Chevrolet dealer service department look at it. within an hour the problem was properly diagnosed and fixed. Come to find out that the axel nut which had to be removed to fix the lower control arm was not tightened to the proper torque and had become loose causing the noise I was hearing, As explained by the head mechanic at Goss Chevrolet. apologies and excuses, they are not necessary. We are now way! Pass it!

Was not updated on the status of my truck I had to call was not told a estimate on how much it was going to be for a cabin filter and wiper blades till I got there and it was 200 dollars for it I would have past and did it myself also was told that they couldn't find the noise in the rear when its very noticeable

Poor customer experience, very little to no updates with customer regarding vehicle. Even when. Calling to check on vehicle, very little to “ I don’t know” answers and no return calls when told they would call back. Brought truck in for 2 different parts to be replaced, 1 of the parts was not replaced and was told the same information back when service tech looked over truck and didn’t replace parts (windshield depended pump). Was told they would delay and wait till another day to do it. I ended up replacing the part myself. 2nd part I pre-ordered and brought the truck in for repairs (for electronic braking module) was truck was there for 6 days for a job quoted at (1.5 hours) and the service tech replaced another part (windshield depended pump) when I told 2 different service people I didn’t want that job to be done (but they did it anyways and claimed “poor communication” and made It seem like it was my fault. Poor communication all around and what is the point of the service center texting for vehicle updates, it was never used at all and had no responses.

I purchased at the time of the 3 year lease an oil change contract for free oil changes good for 2 years. After receiving a couple oil changes and only having 16,914 miles on my 36,000 mile lease I was told that I used all of the free oil changes. The contract should have covered 2 years or 24,000 miles. The delership in glens falls was more interested in upselling than telling me the truth about what it actually covered. Terrible Experience. I will never purchase an upsell contract again.Good luck getting me back in that dealership again!!!!
