What is the Chevrolet Military Appreciation Program?

Who Qualifies for the GM First Responder Discount?

All branches of the U.S. armed forces are included in the Military Appreciation Program – Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard. The following service member are eligible for the Chevrolet Military Appreciation Program:

• Active-Duty Members
• Reservists
• National Guard Members
• Veterans
• Retirees

If you are the spouse of an eligible member of the armed forces, you might be able to take advantage of the Military Appreciation Program as well.

What Documentation Do I Need for Verification?

If you are a current service member, you should use your Leave & Earnings Statement (LES). You will need to use a version that was issued within the last 30 days in order to take advantage of the program. National Guard and Reserve members can use Current Orders for verification.

If you are a veteran from any branch of the armed forces, you can use your DD214 for verification.

There are several methods of verification for Retirees:

• Retiree Verification of Pay Letter
• Retiree Account Statement (eRAS)
• Retiree Uniformed Services ID Card
• Retiree Separation Orders (Reserve or National Guard)
• VA Card
• DAVPRM Uniformed Services ID Card
• Letter from VA showing service-connected evaluation is 100%
